Study On The Investigation Of Present State And Countermeasures To Development Of Students' Organizations In University

The university has a variety of students'organizations. The university student is not only as the main body but also the management object of them. They are the important position for carrying out the university students'self-education, self-management and self-service, conducting essential-quality-oriented Education, enhancing comprehensive quality and raising the competitive capacity in job hunting. With the influence of rapid development of higher education, the deepening of the market economy reform and full-scale contact with the whole world, university students'organizations have become an universal phenomenon in and out of the university. Because of their increasing quantity, diversifying activity and far reaching influence, the problems resulted from them which we should pay attention to and make a further study, are becoming more and more complicated. Therefore, it has practical significance to study the participation of university students to these organizations and the construction of them at the present situation.On the foundation of the investigation of the author to university students'belonging to organizations and the construction of these organizations in some universities in Hebei province, this essay, instructed by the Marxism elementary theory, using the research method of pedagogy, management science, and psychology, will make a insight into the basic concept, classification and function of university students'organizations, especially university students'belonging to organizations as well as the their influence to them. In order to make the university students'organization have the comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development under the guidance of school and society, this assay will search problems in the course of the construction and development of these organizations at present, analyze them profoundly, finding the cause of them and finally give some suggestions to the enhancement and improvement of the construction strategies and tactics of university students'organizations.This essay consists of three parts. On part one it mainly illustrates the concept of university students'organizations. On part two there are some investigations to university students' participating and belonging to various organizations. The last part is about the existing problems of university students'organizations and some countermeasures for them.In the first part, the author concluded a definition to university students'organizations from the management science and the histological point of view. In order to serving teaching and daily education university students'organizations have realized self-management, self-education and self-control through fixed mechanism in specific environment. The university students'organizations, as a mechanical part of social organizations, have not only the characteristic of the social organizations but also the properties of themselves—that are identities of purpose, order, fluidity, looseness, amateurism, flexibility and so on. Besides, these organizations possess the virtual identity and something beyond time and space. The university students'organizations can be divided into campus or extramural organizations, official or unofficial organizations, compulsive or voluntary organizations and real or virtual organizations according to different classifying standards. The students'organizations cannot be substituted in universities'educational and management works, because they can promote the students full scale development—such as ideological and political qualities, cooperative and social adapting abilities, technical skills, innovative spirit and psychological health, be as the bridge for the communication of university and the society and accelerate the development of socialist spiritual civilization.On part two the author will make an analysis on the investigation of the participating and belonging to the university students'organizations on the late of 2008. As the foundation of this assay, the investigation, aiming at student's organizations of some universities in Hebei province, assumed means of questionnaire, individual interviews, consulting pertinent data, and symposium. After investigations, the author discovered that with massive participation the university students were enthusiastic and hopeful to students'organizations and the students'organizations would play greater role in students'daily lives. Besides, we also found that with the increasing of grade the rate in participating into campus organizations is decreasing and it converses to extramural organizations. The virtual organizations have immersed into students organizations. In all of them the official ones have the greatest influence to university students, while referring to the sense of belonging, students'society and party and league organizations are the utmost. The author analyzed the educating effect and operating state of different students'organizations.On part three, author combining theories with the reality, deliberated and proposed countermeasure correspondingly to the construction of university students'organizations from both the abstract and specific aspects. In his opinion, the construction students'organizations should follow the scientific democratic pragmatic and directive principles. With theoretically pondering, he started from the reality, analyzed from social, university, university students'organization and university students aspects, and finally proposed specific suggestions for the strength and improvement of students organizations-- carrying forward team work spirit core values, improving the university students'belonging level to organizations, strengthening construction of infrastructure and culture for these organizations, actively leading university students organizing and participating activities reasonably. Besides, the author put forward that we should pay greater length to the study unofficial and virtual organizations, avoid the negative effects and make full use of its positive aspects to ensure the healthy development of university.
