Purpose:1.To inspect the adaptivity of Multiple Happiness Questionnaire in high school teachers,and survey the status of high school teachers'Happiness;2.To investigate effect mechanism of competency and sense of teaching efficiency upon Happiness,and provide practice reference for the Management of teachers'Happiness.Methods:Use Multiple Happiness Questionnaire, Test of Teacher Competency and Teacher's Sense of Teaching Efficacy Scale to conduct a sample survey on 334 teachers from 8 high schools in Nanchang City and analyze data with SPSS 11.5 and LISREL 8.70 soft ware.Results:1.The reliability and validity of MHQ is good and overall indicators have reached surveying standards and the scale suits for measuring the high school teachers'Happiness; 2.Happiness index of high school teachers is above average. (6.07±1.03).The level of happiness from teachers of different gender, education, school and monthly income reveals significant difference (p<0.05). Female teachers' happiness is significantly higher than male teachers';Doctoral teachers'happiness is significantly higher than that of master, undergraduate and technological academy teachers; Key high school teachers'happiness is significantly higher than that of key construction high school and ordinary high school teachers;Monthly income of 3000-4000 teachers'happiness is significantly higher than that of less than 3000 teachers; 3.There is a significant positive correlation among teacher's happiness, competency and sense of teaching efficacy (P<0.05); Sense of teaching efficacy plays the role of a partial intermediary between competency and happiness (The fit index of causal model is good).Conclusion:The MHQ suits for measuring the high school teachers'happiness; Teacher competency and sense of teaching efficacy are important factors for happiness.Therefore, apperceiving happiness from a sense of competence, tasting happiness from a sense of efficacy, experiencing happiness from self-transcendence, and enhancing happiness from self-growth, are effective ways to promote teachers' professional growth and enhance the level of happiness.
