The 21st century is an important period of education reform in China, with the expansion of higher education, elite education to mass education, college graduates has risen dramatically, while the corresponding demand for talent has no apparent growth, coupled with the global financial crisis, the employment of college students, particularly the employment of female college students is particularly prominent. Many studies show that female college students in the school's overall academic performance and class work ability is better, at least not less than boys', but their employment situation is much worse than boys', and their employment pressure is much larger than males'.In this paper, by analyzing the employment data of all graduates of a university of Finance and Economics from 2004 to 2008, and using the combining method of horizontal and vertical comparison method, depth analysis about the employment status and job values of female college students has been done. The results show:female college students in political consciousness, learning ability are basically the same with the male students, yet in the professional choice, female students have obvious tendency of pragmatism and utilitarianism,and are more willing to select the management, economics and other arts professionals; in the choice of the workplace, female students are more willing to developed eastern coastal areas or areas close to home, and more female students choose enterprise, which replays that the sense of competition and fighting spirit among female college students has a certain degree of improvement, but it also reflects their pursuit of material interests and the strong sense of family dependence, more and more women choose to continue graduate studies, which means that they have higher goals in life and pursuit of self-value realization, but also to certain extent reflects under the fierce competition for jobs they demonstrate back, timid and blind herd mentality. Based on the performance of female students in their employment trends and problems, this article from the community, schools, families and female students themselves analyzes the reasons for its formation, and puts forward suggestions for improvement:community should actively promote the propaganda of the concept of employment equality and further improvement of laws and regulations, improve legal rights and interests of female students; schools should focus on strengthening the ability of female college students, active employment guidance and employment services to help female college students form a correct understanding of themselves and establish clear employment goals, parents should train young female students independent awareness and encourage their active participation in competition, and make family as their solid backing when they struggle, female students themselves should also strengthen comprehensive ability to optimize the knowledge structure, and actively participate in social practice to improve their own quality, and correctly understand the society and themselves, form a concept of employment to adapt to modern society's needs, grasp opportunities, and positive employment.
