Teacher education has a centuries-old history in China. In the past, we have been using "normal education" to indicate the training of teachers. The features of it are closed, orientation and the separation of pre-employment training and job training. With the teacher education process and we are also entered a period of transformation of education, teacher education tents to high degree, diversified teacher sources, teachers professionalism and the integration of pre-serve and vocational continuing education. In this context, the developments of local normal universities are facing great challenges. By strengthening the construction of dominant discipline group is the core strategic measures to promote the competitiveness and advantages of local normal universities. Discipline group of education is the advantages of local normal university. How to overcome the current problems, play the overall strength of discipline group and searching for a suitable way for the construction of education discipline group path are the important questions of the normal universities development. Subject group as a new idea and a new trend of the discipline construction, its theory and practice of research are not very perfect. There is not formed a complete systems. The most of the researches are aimed at the higher level multiversity. But the study, pointing at the discipline group construction of local normal university, is quite not enough. Following the clue of problem solving and analyzing, the study takes several methods, such as document analysis, case study and interview method. Based on the significance of education discipline group construction of local normal university during the period of teacher education transition, this paper analyzes many problems which the current education discipline group construction are facing to, and proposes the route of construction of education discipline group. It takes education subject group in Shenyang Normal University as an example, analyses the theory of discipline group of education construction, in order to conclude the practical experience of education discipline group construction of local normal university, hope to provide useful insights for other universities.The research mainly follows six sections:The first part pointed out the aim and the content, the two reach premises, summarized interrelated literature and research methods and so on. The second part analysis some core concepts, then introduces the transition of teacher education and significance of the education discipline group construction to local normal college. The third part analyzes the problem issues about, which are restricted factors in the construction of discipline group in the local normal university. The fourth section case Shenyang Normal University, outlined the developed history of the education discipline group and practice about that school. The fifth part, based on the case in practical view, the writer proposes several ideas about construction of education discipline group in local normal university.
