The Research Of College Students' Career Development Counseling

The college students'career development counseling emerged as the times require. Its emergence and development answers the needs of the reform of the graduates'employment system and the college students'career development curriculum. It's also what students career development demand. It could enhance the efficiency of human resource development and utilization, optimize the talent training mode of colleges, and promote college students'to become talented.This study states the following five aspects by means of documentation, comparison, generalization and extension, and questionnaires. In the first part, firstly refers to the background and present status of college students'career development counseling, its significance, also indicates innovations. The second part illustrates the concept and history of career development counseling. Part three analyses the achievement got by the college students' career development counseling, what can be divided into three points:the first one is that the teaching body has been built, the second one is that the construction of academic and curriculum has been developed, the last one is the developing of the career counselors' accreditation and credential system. The problems needs to be fixed includes the lack of professional teachers, the lag of the construction of academic and curriculum, the imperfect organization, and the incomplete system of the career counselors'accreditation and credential. And then the paper compares the career development counseling with the psychological counseling from discipline basis, theoretical basis etc. It reveals that career development counseling, as an independent subject, has many intersections with psychological counseling. At last, the approaches about how to propel career development counseling are presented.The paper tightly focuses on "how to propel the college students'career development counseling". By the method of systematic comparison, it reveals the relation of the career development counseling and the psychological counseling. Based on the above analysis, this paper put forward some proposals about how to promote the college students'career development counseling from the angles of government, colleges, and teachers.
