| With the moving forward of higher education system reform, the scale of higher education graduates are expand rapidly. As a result, the undergraduates are facing fierce competition and challenge. Also, the students of secondary vocational schools compete in the job market as in a weak position even more severe. As China's talent market demands and gradually tends to be highly educated and highly qualified. In the meantime, the economic crisis sweeping the globe on the already hard-pressed staff in the vocational job market has brought a more serious challenge. Though, the difficulties and opportunities always exist side by side. While the domestic employment market has brought employment pressure to the secondary vocational students, the international job market gave the students a broad level of job opportunities at the same time. Therefore, how to respond to opportunities and challenges; raise the level of employability and competitiveness of secondary vocational students better has become the foremost and imperative problem the secondary vocational school has faced.This research is based on the level of concern about the competitiveness of the employment of secondary vocational students. In this thesis, it has used the employability and competitiveness status quo of nursing students in the affiliated health school of Shenyang Medical College as an example; it has used internationally accepted SWOT analysis to give a comprehensive analysis to mainly four factors, namely, advantages, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges, which would has caused influence on the employment situation of secondary vocational nursing students; According to the results of SWOT analysis to build out its evaluation SWOT matrix; combined with questionnaire survey results to sort the factors as they affects the students employability and competitiveness according to the degree of relevance and impact; from that point on to draw its conclusions and reviews to the employability and competitiveness status quo of nursing students in the affiliated health school of Shenyang Medical College. Based on the above findings, this thesis proposed some suggestions and strategies to enhance the employability and competitiveness of nursing students in the affiliated health school of Shenyang Medical College. It came up an all-round, full-linkage employment support system. This system involved with the constructing the abilities and qualities improvement oriented individual autonomy support system, educational quality enhancement oriented school supporting system and social policy Optimization oriented social support system. Among these sub-systems, especially the enhancement of the school's own education and teaching quality as the core strategy, in order to enhance the employability and competitiveness of nursing students in the affiliated health school of Shenyang Medical College. |
