The history of higher vocational colleges is short, but is the cradle of skill training, and the qualities of talents are directly determined by the quality of higher vocational colleges, required its teachers to break tradition of educational method and use new works pattern. In higher vocational colleges, the performance appraisal for college faculty is the main measure for promoting the achievement. In our country, the system of appraising was created, but because of the lack of scientific guidance, target system is not perfect, assessment work, still-many drawbacks. Therefore, it is a very important research project for human resource management in higher vocational colleges that how to explore an effective performance appraisal system.In China, the training model of HCC has the following characters:producing-studying, "engineer-instructor" practice-dominant. Consequently, the teacher of HCC had to not only taught the theory knowledge perfectly, but be skillful in practice introduction, namely "Double". Actually, in China most of the teacher's performance appraisals of were some problems, including vague objective, single model, illogical appraisal indicator, and unscientific methodology and so on.The contemporary performance appraisal theory and method are applied to the higher vocational colleges in this paper, and the appraisal system for college faculty is created. Based on the Performance-appraisal theory, indicators of performance appraisal of teachers in higher vocational colleges are analyzed its position, role, design assessment indicators and assessment criteria, using expert surveys, questionnaires and other methods to determine evaluation indicators, the appraisal indicator system on performance of higher vocational college teachers was designed, which included three layers and seventeen specific indicators. Analytic Hierarchy Process method was used to decide the weight of very indicators so that a more objective and reasonable, scientific outcome can be obtained.
