Happiness is the goal of life. Teachers'Sense of Occupational Happiness comes from teaching activities of teachers, which gains material, cultural and spiritual aspects. It is an important part of teachers'occupational life, which is a significant index to measure the quality of teachers'employment and life. For teachers, their career well-being in over thirty years will have a direct impact on quality of life of each person's life. Teachers'sense of happiness is closely related to students'. The characteristics of occupation determine that sense of occupational happiness is extremely important. Junior secondary education plays an important role in elementary education. Therefore studies on the group of teachers with high sense of occupational happiness become the hot spot in this field.Based on quality and quantity research, this dissertation combines use of questionnaires, interviews, literature research methods and other methods to study the present situation, influencing factors and other issues of junior secondary school teachers'sense of occupational happiness in urban district of Suzhou. On the basis of it, the methods and measures of enhancing occupational happiness can be presented. The followings are the main conclusions obtained from this study:1. From the results of the research, the overall junior secondary school teachers'sense of occupational happiness in Suzhou urban area is between the normal and relative happiness. The survey results show that junior secondary school teachers in urban district of Suzhou can gain the feeling of happiness. But the overall situation is not optimistic. The extent of occupational happiness varied due to different schools, disciplines, jobs, and ages. The relationship between years of teaching career and teachers'sense of occupational happiness is a U-shaped curve.2. The factors which influence the gaining of teachers'sense of occupational happiness are as follows: the recognition and support of school principals, the probability of success in education and teaching, love from students, recognition and support from students'parents. The factors which lead to the loss of teachers'sense of occupational happiness are as follows: stress (mental, title, education, and family), lack of trust and understanding from students'parents, low pay and working conditions.3. The suggestion to improve teachers'sense of occupational happiness is through the following: to care for the professional development of teachers; to create a human-oriented management environment; to establish a harmonious relationship between teachers and students.
