| The article aims at performing inquiry experimental teaching on chemistry in order to make students transform the learning ways consciously, becoming the main body of finding knowledge, acquire practical techniques simultaneously, develop the scientific literacy of thinking alone and respecting the facts. The whole article includes seven parts. The first part summarizes the necessity and feasibility of inquiry experimental teaching on chemistry in rural junior high schools by introducing the history and development of inquiry teaching at home and abroad and the general situation what domestic scholars have studied. The second part donates the theoretical foundation of this subject. The third part analyses the aims of the chemistry inquiry experimental teaching, and comes up with the teaching models, teaching strategies and evaluative strategies according to the common procedures of inquiry experimental teaching. The fourth part gives the analysis of the current situation in my school by interviewing some teachers and surveying the learning interests of students. In the fifth part, I mainly introduce the ways and steps of experimental research, and display them with the typical cases. The sixth part contains the result analysis and conclusion derived from the project research. With my school reality, the last part shows the practical conclusions and thinking on some issues. My one-year teaching practice shows that carrying out the research on chemistry exploring experiment teaching in rural junior high schools can not only improve chemistry teachers'teaching sense, but also transform the learning ways of students. It is helpful for the students to build up chemical knowledge and techniques, and to train the discipline sensibility and scientific literacy such as study interest, creative thoughts and experimental exploring abilities. It is also good to improve the teaching and learning quality of chemistry, and to develop the experimental resources in rural junior high schools and it even benefits the further development of the whole schools. |
