Originated in the 13th century the Dual System has made great contributions to the development of Germany's social economy and the change of its social status in the world. And the Dual System's advantage in fostering practical personals has been gradually accepted and realized by the world. From the 1980's, experimental units have emerged in the eastern and north-eastern industrial regions of china. Since 1994, when the Chinese and German governments issued a statement on strengthening the cooperation in vocational education areas, the Dual System has been influential in the vocational education areas of our country. After the cooperation and exploration of many years, the Dual System has also been accepted by the Chinese vocational educational circles. Some regions have accumulated a wealth of experience in learning from the Dual System. They have evolved 3 types of cooperation in learning from it: direct cooperation; regional cooperation; indirect cooperation.With the reform and development of the vocational education, especially with the teaching reform and the change of training patterns, higher demand has been set on vocational teaching stuffs. They must change their ideas, renew their knowledge and improve their abilities. But the teaching stuff trained with traditional teacher training patterns are used to teaching academically and focus on the logic connections of the teaching concepts while neglecting the working progress and working experience. As a result, there are more teachers good at teaching traditional knowledge and less teachers who have technical skills. Because of this, the government and the regions have formulated many policies actively. In January, 2008, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education decided to carry out plans to enhance the quality of vocational school teachers. During the 11th's period, 500 million Yuan will be bug from the public finance for training vocational school teachers. Although, we have achieved some success in learning from the Dual System, training the teachers at work is still in its beginning stages. There is no thematically systematic, scientific and feasible experience to use for reference. The purpose of this article is to find the joint points of the Dual System and the training of teachers with analyzing their essences to put forward some feasible plans on the pattern of the Dual System and the training of teachers according to conditions in our country so as to offer some useful suggestions on the work of training of vocational teachers.
