The objects of the study are middle school teachers who teach psychology and their jobs. Through the detailed survey on the basic information and profesional working situation of 65 objects in Nanning city, this thesis analyses in depth the strategy on improving the job of psychological teacher in middle school.This study closely combine theoretical research with empirical studies. Based on a thorough survay on the basic information and profesional working situation of 65 middle school teachers who teach psychology, the study probes into their labor intensity, environment of human relation, opportunity of attending further education, pressure of work, role identity, work treatment, fruquncy of participating in activities outside school, as well as the hardware construction in school's Psychoeducation, the management, working status of psychological counseling, teaching situationof psychological course, other related professional jobs and performance and measurement. This Thesis is an in-depth analysis of the basic situation and working status of teachers who teach psychology in middle school of Nanning. The thesis probes into the five problems exsisting in the working situation of psychological teachers in middle school of Nanning. They are listed as follows:inadquate support from teaching environment, a need to improve relative research and teaching staff; a need to improve management and hardware construction; Career Burnout; a demard for psychological teachers in middle school to advance their education and a necessasity to improve their professionalism.Based on empirical studies and analysis, focuses on the problems existed in the practical situation and teaching jobs of psychological teachers in middle school of Nanning. This part proposes innovative and pratical strategies on improving the job of psychological teachers in middle school in the following four aspects, namely the government and the administrative department of education, school management, teaching and research, and teacher's own level,The feature of this study lies in a detailed and thorough survey on the basic situation and working status of teachers who teach psychology in middle school. In addition, in terms of professional development and humanistic care, it puts forward strategies on improving the job of those teachers.
