Life science, the science education is an integral part of the experimental program is to improve biological quality on the part of life science students.Therefore, it is important to establish a scientific and effective evaluation system in the life science.The questionnaire method is employed in this project on the present evaluation of students and teachers'attitude towards it in Shanghai high schools.Most science teachers in high schools have received the latest training in evaluation based on the new curriculum reform.On the evaluation they hold a positive attitude toward reform, but do not implement the new evaluation in practice.Experimental evaluation on student learning lags behind the evaluation of life science.The current evaluation system tends to have demerits as teachers'dominance as evaluation subjects, monotony in the evaluation ways, one-sidedness in the contents of evaluation and the limit in the function of evaluation, etc.However, the Curriculum Criteria for Life Science in Shanghai has embodied some changes in the theories of evaluation. For example, evaluation should be undertaken throughout the study of the students, in which the emphasis of evaluation is supposed to be on the improvement and development of students, and the diversity in the ways of evaluation.To this end, this paper presents the life science experiments in high school courses in Shanghai to build a Multi-Evaluation System of Students'Learning.By referring to the relevant researches, we summarize the theoretical researches of Multi-Evaluation System.We classify the Experiments of Life Science in Senior High School into four types, skills-based experiments, replication experiments, inquiry-based experiments, innovative experiments.including improving the objectives of the Multi-Evaluation System, and establishing the teachers and students as the evaluation subjects in the new evaluation system. The way in evaluation includes evaluation scales, exercises, electronic portfolio and so on.The content of the evaluation covers knowledge and skills, process and approaches,attitudes, emotion and value as in three dimensionsThe activity research referred in this thesis is carried out on students of senior two in Shanghai Yucai High School,different types of experiments involving a different evaluation methods.After statistical analysis of experimental results,most students have rated it highly.The Multi-Evaluation System improves their interest in scientific experiments, helps to develop good science habits and enhances the ability of students to experimental inquiry.It is also conducive to cooperation between students."Electronic portfolio" is well received by the students; in addition, experts regard favorably the new evaluation.Because of the actual characteristics of multiple evaluation and objective conditions, only a few students are involved in this project, and not many experts take part as well.These issues need to be improved in the future by continuing to integrate all aspects of the work force, construction of promoting and implementing new curriculum to promote effective diversification project---a new system of student evaluation...
