The learning evaluation is an important link in the process of the new curriculum reform of the average high school in China, and it is very important to the growth of students. To establish a scientific and effective learning evaluation system will promote the all-round development of students. At present, various countries have carried out the reform and research of the learning evaluation. In the domestic, many education theory researchers and the middle school teachers have made a large number of researches under the guidance of the new curriculum concept. Their practical experience and new theories own important significance for the learning evaluation. But all in all, to keep pace with the times in the new curriculum reform, the learning evaluation needs to be perfected incessantly. This paper aims to study the multi-evaluation, and to increase maneuverability of the evaluation during the teaching activities. The related education practices have been carried out under the guidance of the education theory.This paper summarized the development history of the evaluation research at home and abroad, combed the connotation, function, characteristics, purpose and the theoretical basis of the multi-evaluation. And the process and methods on the study of the evaluation were also summarized. Then the content is formulated based on the Course Objectives proposed in the reform of the new course of high school chemistry. Multi-evaluation is carried out through three different dims: chemistry classroom learning activities, chemistry homework evaluation and the students’ experiments. The evaluation body is teachers, students, parents and related personnel companion in the learning evaluation proposed, which embodies the diversification of the evaluation body; evaluation methods contain the written exam, questionnaire investigation, interview and so on, which embodies the diversification of the evaluation methods; evaluation content including the knowledge and skills, process and methods, attitudes and values, which also reflect the diversity of the evaluation content.On the basis of theoretical analysis, with the teaching class in actual teaching practice as the research object, this paper carried out the practice research. And the practical result was collected by interview and questionnaire.The statistical analysis shows that, most of the students, parents and related personnel held a positive attitude to carry out multi-evaluation. The multi-evaluation highlights the students’subject status, and gives full play to the evaluation of the judgment, the adjustment, guidance and incentive, and other functions, and plays a promoting role to the students’ cognitive, thinking, emotional attitude and other aspects.This study has made the exploration from a profile of the multi-evaluation. In practices, there are still many pending problems. For example, the evaluation strategies for large capacity class, the effective method to evaluate the emotional attitude and information technology in the application of chemical learning evaluation and so on, further study should be conducted about all of these aspects.
