The Research And Practice Of Application Of Modern Information Technology To The Biology Teaching In Junior Middle School Under The New Curriculum Ideas

It was proposed by"the basic education curriculum reforms outline"drafted by the ministry of education in 2001 that information technology should be applied universally in teaching to promote the integration of information technology and subject curriculum. It can be seen that it is a necessary trend that information technology is applied in teaching of the basic education curriculum reforms. The research of application of modern information technology to the biology teaching in junior middle school and the advantages of modern information technology in achieving the new curriculum ideas and the curriculum objectives will push intensity of the basic education curriculum reforms and supply reference to applying modern information technology by teachers correctly and logically.This research mainly used literature analysis, questionnaire–investigation, interviews, experimentation and case study. The application present situation and effect of modern information technology to the biology teaching in junior middle school were investigated and researched, especially the advantages of modern information technology in achieving the new curriculum ideas and curriculum objectives. Find out the problems and the reason in applying; raise the solution strategies and the application strategies under the new curriculum ideas; practice in the biology teaching.An investigation is conducted in Yantai and Weihai with the self-made questionnaire"the questionnaire for teachers of the application present situation of modern information technology to the biology teaching in junior middle school"and"the questionnaire for students of the application present situation of modern information technology to the biology teaching in junior middle school", including 514 students in Grade 1, 82 biology teachers in Grade 1 in the junior middle school. Then more analysis and discussion is conducted on the basis of the statistic results and interview.The investigation results are as follows: the building of software and hardware is unbalanced, the usage of equipment is low, the understanding of biology teachers'application aim is mistaken; the capability of making multi-media courseware and using internet of biology teachers should be enhanced; the biology teachers'training is weak; implementing curriculum objectives by applying modern information technology biology by biology teachers is invalid, the effect of implementing capability and emotion objectives by biology teachers should be advanced. Based on the analysis of the investigation result, in view of the biology curriculum ideas and the three-dimensional curriculum objectives, raise the solution strategies are as follows: reinforcing the building of software and hardware, meeting the teaching needs; transforming concept, strengthening the biology teachers'modernization teaching awareness; integrating and enriching theirs'information technology knowledge system. The application strategies are as following: strategies to achive knowledge and skills objective; strategies to achive process and methods objective; strategies to achive emotional attitude and values objective. Some strategies were carried out, which were based on special subject learning website designed by the author.Empirical research on above application strategies was carried out in junior middle school. After a semester's implementation of raised strategies, the result was found out: application strategies put forward was able to remarkably enhance junior middle school students'interest, attitude activity in biology learning and biology scientific literacy.
