The teacher-student relationship in colleges is the most basic relationship in educational activities for higher colleges, which has great impact on the educational effect and the growth of college students, meanwhile, it has always been the core topic for educational research. However, at present, the research concerning teacher-student relationship is leveraged to children aspect, so, both at home and abroad, the research results for relationship in colleges are not so common. Colleges, serve as the indispensable part of the harmonious socialist society, should be the colleges that illustrate the quality of essence, and be modern and novel. And the college teachers and students act as the key roles in colleges. Therefore, theirs' interpersonal modes not only determine the quality of education, but also influence the tendency towards the evolution of education. Based on that, the writer maintains that the research on the Application of Network Tools in Teacher-Student Relationship in Colleges is very meaningful under the circumstance of Internet.The research has been divided into five parts. Part One, is the Introduction, this dissertation has touched the explanation to some related problems, including the topic theory basis, meaning, main contents and the fundamental methods. Part Two is the theory base. Firstly, the definition, conception and core characteristics of harmonious relationship have been demonstrated, followed by the illustration and discussion of the importance of this kind of relationship. Part Three is the key component of this dissertation. Based on the documents research and the interviews, this dissertation has analyzed the present general condition of college teachers and students, as well as the detailed performance, that is, fame and fortune, passivization, indifference, and secularization. Then the unharmonious elements that influence the teacher-student relationship are discussed from the following five aspects, namely, the current defect of higher educational system, the restriction of teaching mode, the weak points raised by the college enrollment expansion, the shock brought by the market economy and the informativeness. In Part Four, the following contents have been covered. Compared with the traditional communication ways between teachers and students, the network tools have been employed, such as the mobile phones, E-mails, QQ, Blog and Fetion, to build the harmonious relationship. And finally the conclusion and expectation are in Part Five.
