The relationship between teachers and students is the most important relationship inuniversity, which is the foundation of other relationships the construction of the harmoniouscivilized campus, college strength. But, there are many much-needed problems in therelationship between teachers and students in Chinese higher education, such as, thecommunication channels are not free, there are sense of goods between teachers andstudents, the relationship between teachers and students is cold, etc. It has got the importantpractical significance on the advance of quality education and the growth of the students toattach importance to and to analyze the present situation, characteristics and change of therelationship between teachers and students in the new situation, to master the rule of therelationship between teachers and students in university, to seek the countermeasure ofimprove and optimize the relationship between teachers and students.University which is as an important part of socialist harmonious society, should be theappearance of nature the of the University, the modern,new and harmonious University. Agood teacher-student relationship is the foundation and guarantee of meeting the needs ofteaching, cooperating teaching and learning activities and realizing teaching objectives. Agood teacher-student relationship is a microcosm of harmonious society in university. It isnot only conducive for the formation of good school spirit but also helpful for training andexerting of complete personality, creative ability of college students to build a harmoniouscampus culture to establish democratic, equal and new teacher-student relationship.This article consists of three parts: in the first part, the introduction set forth problems ofthe study, including research background, the meaning, the methods and the status quo ofresearch. The second part confirms the object of this study that analyses the status quo and theexistent questions of the relationship between teachers and students in university of China.The third part rethinks the existent questions of the relationship between teachers andstudents and puts forward improving policy, that describes the schools, teachers and studentsand hopes it is useful to improve the relationship between teachers and students at prently incolleges and universities.
