The Research On Undergraduate Employment From The Social Capital Perspective-taking

In recent ten years, expand to recruit continuously along with the high number of school high undergraduate in the school increases year by year, according statistic of high graduate student employment rate in the school, he result shows, The employment rate continues to decline. more and more people become to concern about the graduates employment. How to resolve this problem properly, has become the hot point of the social research. Scholars of different fields show their academic view of this problem and have make some research results. In this paper, based on previous studies, I select the perspective of social capital to re-view and learn this problem. Understanding the status of students with social capital, analyzing the impact of social capital in the course of employment, concerning about the expansion of social capital of college students.There are five parts of this thesis. Chapters one is the introduction which includes research background, research ideas, research methods, and related research view. Chapter two starts from the changes of student employment system, describe the changes of the employment situation since the founding of the country and the severe employment situation of college students, Analysis the factors that affect the employment of college students, learn the important role of social capital in the process of job-hunting. chapter three starts from the empirical investigation, analysis the impact of social capital in the employment expectation for students and the actual employment results. Chapter four starts with the using attitude of social capital in job-hunting for college students, from three parts--family, school and personal--to give some suggestions to students for the expansion of social capital. The last chapter is consist of a summary of the whole thesis, and does some prospect of future.
