What a hard time graduates are having finding a job. The problems of University students' employment has caught the attention of the whole society, the scholars have studied on this issue in different perspectives and have achieved some results. On the basis of previous studies, this study revisits this problem in the perspective of social capital.The study adopts the qualitative research method and conduct access methods with eighteen representative university students. The collected materials is analyzed in accordance with the grounded theory and ultimately build a theoretical model named social capital affects university students' employment. The discussions are as follows:1?The model named social capital affects university students' employment includes five parts: causal conditions, center phenomenon, strategies, intervening conditions & context, and results.2?On the basis of the model, the study also comprehends the students' attitude and the pros and cons of getting a job by using social capital.3?Put forward some suggestions. To university students, they should pay attention to accumulate human capital and set up correct employment view. To the universities, the suggestions includes: establish professional brand image and reinforce the management of employment. And the society need to coordinate and integrate related resources and establish mechanisms on oversight, monitoring.The last but not least, illuminate the innovations and short-comings of this study.
