Study On Reasons And Measures Of Employment Difficulty Of Graduates In Higher Vocational Colleges

During the late 90s of 20 Century, China's higher Vocational Education has entered into a rapid development period. With the rapid development of higher Vocational Education, It is understood that it is of important strategic significance in the process of economic and social development.meanwhile,people has been more concerned about the issue of employment of Vocational Education,and it has become the hot spots of educational research. At the same time, with the rapid development of higher vocational education and the continuous expansion of colleges, the vocational graduates are facing more acid tests. This has led to extensive discussions in theoretical circles from different angles on the current difficulties of finding a job of vocational graduates.the scholars have analysed the underlying reason from different angles on the current difficulties of finding a job of vocational graduates.including the subjective factors and the objective factors, such as the individual employability, personal aspirations, social attitudes,employment orientations and the social -economic situation, the labour demand of employers,the maturity of labour market,and so on.These studies from the theoretical dimension and the policy practice level have procided favorable clues for the future researches on employment of college students.This article is mainly to study the employment of vocational graduates. First of all,the article made a literature review on employment of college student,and summed up the research findings of the domestic and foreign experts and scholars on the issue. The statistics summarized the overall employment status of college graduates, vocational graduates and the vocational graduates of Shandong Province.The areticle,by questionnaires and by investigating some vocational college,has analysed deeply the existing probloems of vocational graduates employment in many ways:careers concepts,careers mentality, employment orientations, employment channels,impact factors of employment, satisfaction to schools.then the article analysed the reasons of the difficulties of finding jobs of college graduates by using the economic theory on labour supply and demand and the subjective and objective factors as well.In the last place,the article offered the corresponding measures and rational proposals from four aspects,the government,the employers,the colleges and the graduates.
