Employment is a problem of people's livelihood in a country and a region. In recent years, it has been growing more difficult for college students to find jobs after graduation. As a special group reserving advanted knowledge, the college students will directly affect economic growth, social stability and their own development with the harsh situation of employment.The existing research is mainly about college students'employment from the macroscopic angle, but this article, on the basis of a region, studies the difficult problem of the employment of Shandong Province college students, and then puts forward some measures to promote the problem by analyzing the present employment situation of supply and demand, employment features and the factors as well.In order to master the concept of employment of university students, employment and geographical considerations of choice of occupation of present-day Shandong Province, the author selected about 800 graduates and college students of the Shandong University, Shandong Normal University, Jinan University, Shandong Institute of Technology working career in the last four months of employment to carry out the wishes of a questionnaire survey of university students (Appendixâ… ). Therefore in order to fundamentally solve the difficult problem of employment of university students, government, universities, businesses and college students are supposed to work together. Government should do a good job in macro-control, carrying out our mass higher education by"improving quality while expanding the scale"; employers should change their view of talent to employ persons with ability according to its own recruitment; the colleges should improve their teaching quality to train qualified persons in accordance with the needs of the community; University Students should also establish correct concept of employment and careers equip themselves with the advanced knowledge in the face of the employment situation in recent years, improve their professional ability and practical ability, so that they can lay a solid foundation for their successful employment.
