Innovation, the soul of a nation's progress, is the inexhaustible motive force for national prosperity; a national innovation capacity is not difficult to stand in the world family of nations.The Twelfth National Economic and Social Development Five-Year Plan proposed to implement in-depth strategy and this strategy accelerates the construction of the grand goal of an innovative country.Building an innovative country is based on creative talent, while as for the innovative personnel training, education is the basis and premise.Why our schools could never train outstanding talents? The Famous Qian Xuesen's question is the alert and also arouses the community's top creative talents cultivation of deep concern.However, the cultivation of creative talents is not an overnight thing, but a derivative of basic education. One well-known educator, Tao Xingzhi, in the "Creation of Declaration" say:" Everywhere is the place to innovate and every day is time to innovate when everyone is an innovative person." Physics is not only the basis for other sciences, but also the theoretical support of high technology. It is the golden key to enter the halls of science because of its characters. Physics teaching in secondary schools to develop creative ability has unique advantages. However, students in physics teaching does not mean increasing the innovative capacity of the teaching of physical education time and capacity, but rather on the traditional physics teaching reform. The inquiry teaching is scientific and practically, based on modern educational theory, psychological theory, constructivist theory of teaching and activities, helping students gain the ability to innovate."Full-time Standard of Physics Education" pointed out: scientific inquiry is the learning goals and also the teaching methods. Students in scientific inquiry activities, try to experience of scientific workers when they are doing the research in order to experience the joy of scientific inquiry, learn scientific inquiry methods, understand the scientific mind and spirit, and foster a correct view of science. Promotion and implementation of a comprehensive inquiry teaching has become the basis for the theme of teaching reform and development. This paper mainly concerned with middle school students as the research object, based on the current status of secondary school physics teaching survey, both inside and outside inquiry teaching research, and the practical experience of inquiry teaching in secondary schools of the author in inquiry teaching in secondary schools, discovers the innovation ability of students theoretically and practically. The result of this research might promote the teaching of school physics inquiry and carry out a reference value, to make some modest.The first chapter is the introduction which describes the current trends in international basic education reform, curriculum reform of basic education background as well as domestic and foreign issues related to this research situation. Chapter II gives an outline of the innovation and inquiry teaching related educational theories. This chapter mainly expounds the elements of innovation, proposes that the innovation contains innovative thinking, knowledge factors, cognitive theory and personality traits. It also briefly describes the theory of cognitive structure, discovery learning theory, subject theory and constructivist education theory, education theory and philosophy of these inquiry teaching guide and foundation. On this basis, the proposed inquiry teaching high school physics teaching principles and strategies. The third chapter is the focus of this paper which discusses the inquiry-based physics teaching on student ability measures and practical training. First, inquiry teaching is discussed in detail the three basic aspects of students'first exploration, exploration with teachers and reflections. Second, this chapter proposes training creative ability in the four ways: to create a democratic and harmonious environment; to stimulate innovation; to seek, find information capacity; to guide guess, develop divergent thinking ability; through the process of innovation to develop information processing capabilities. Finally, it introduces the practice of inquiry teaching physics concepts: to foster innovation in teaching; in physical laws to foster innovation in teaching; in physics experiment teaching to foster innovation. Chapter IV is testing and evaluation of the implementation of this study, and makes the prospect of the research.The innovation of this paper is to analyze the composition of the cultivation of creative ability in the process of inquiry based teaching innovation. First, I identify several elements of innovation, and then give an introduction in detail on teaching students using inquiry teaching theory to cultivate innovative thinking and excellent personal qualities, etc. Finally, the actual instance of inquiry teaching is given.
