Fish Or Bear's Paw?

In the recent reform of Chinese Textbook,《The memory for being forgotton》, the beautiful article written by LuXun, along with many other articles of LuXun was deleted from the old Chinese Textbook, which resulted in lots of argument.It was since 1920 that articles of LuXun were received by Chinese Textbook, and from then on they were always important components of Chinese Textbook. Is there the criterion that permits an article of LuXun to be received by Chinese Textbook? If so, what is it? To answer these questions, this paper will discuss the criterion that permits an article to be received by Chinese Textbook by analysing《The memory for being forgotton》. There are three parts.The first part would explain the meaning of memorialize and forget and the meaning of revolution and sacrifice, by which it would state the achievement of this article in ideology. Then it will state the achievement of this article in art through three aspects. The achievement in ideology and art is just the merit of this article.The second part will compare《The memory for being forgotton》with《The memory of LiuHezhen》and show that《The memory for being forgotton》is more appropriate to be received by Chinese Textbook. At the same time, this part would make the educational importance of《The memory for being forgotton》clear.On the base of two parts, the third part would put forward the criteria that permits an article of LuXun to be received by Chinese Textbook.The standard of ideological meaning includes the spiritual meaning, philosophical meaning and historical and cultural significance in luxun's works.Artistic standard of literary theory consists of the environment,typical characters and some artistic skills form luxun's works; Styles standards begin with the "fixed passage"and his works in school textbooks of the styles ideas are given.
