In recent years, with the rapid economic development, people’s material life is getting richer and richer, but the spiritual life is becoming more and more empty and confused. Various reasons from society, family and school education may be attributable to. With respect to the reasons from education, this is a product of a long time of Exam-Oriented Education. Under the command of college entrance examination, students become “examination machines” and “slaves of scores”. Examination kills students’ instinct, creativity and imagination, deprives of their happy and free hours, and extinguishes their dreams and pursuit. As a result, students lose their life belief, feel lonely and hollow, and are unable to find the meaning and value of life. Chinese subject is a subject with rich humanistic connotation, and articles in Chinese textbooks are full of the breath of life. Therefore, a Chinese teacher should make the best use of the textbook, fully dig up the meaning of life contained therein, and help student to correctly understand the life, so as to lead them to love and cherish life, improve the value of life, and make their limited life full and meaningful.This essay, based on the articles in Chinese textbook of Beijing Normal University Version for Grade Six primary school students, by adopting the documentary method and frequency statistic method as the research methods. at macro level, I statistical and analyze the life education factor of the articles in Chinese textbook of Beijing Normal University Version for Grade Six primary school students, and In microcosm, I unscramble these articles, therefore reach the advantages and disadvantages of the articles. Then I propose my ponders of how could teachers make good use of textbooks’ articles to give students life education lessons, Looking forward to enrich the study of life education.The innovation of the essay is, at present, most studies of life education is fundamental research, there are few applied research.
