Training is an important way to promote the kindergarten teachers professional development. However, researchers have found that there are some problems in the models of kindergarten teachers training. In order to improve the situation of kindergarten teachers training and promote their professional level, we must explore a new type of training method which can satisfy the actual demands of kindergarten teachers' work. Nowadays, Participatory Teacher Training (PTT) is a teaching method, which has been advocated universally. It will directly improved preschool education philosophy and practices by applying the concept of PTT into kindergarten teachers training, which will surely effect profoundly on the kindergarten teachers training fields and preschool education reform.For this purpose, this research focus on how to apply the concept and method of PTT in the process of kindergarten teachers training, expecting to facilitate the professional development of teachers and to drive the success of preschool education reform. This research take the Shanghai L teachers' training school for example, through consulting and analyzing lots of literatures about the school, watching and thinking process of on-site training, interviewing trainers and participants and recording, we try to conclude characteristic and provide helpful suggestions for practice of PTT in kindergarten, expecting promote kindergarten teachers' professional development.This research describes and summarizes the process and method of PTT which L teachers' training school applied. Based on the results, from the equal cooperation partnership between trainers and participants, goals, contents, process, methods, evaluation and effects in PTT, this paper establishes framework of PTT in kindergarten systematically. Last, it brings forward concrete suggestions on how to conduct training programs:taking full advantage of human resources in PTT, energizing base and implementing the training goals and contents effectively, organizing training process reasonably and insuring the variety of training activity forms and methods, paying more attention to evaluation and establishing assessment mechanism.
