Teaching of historical materials is not a new term, but how many people pay attention to it and the actual applied to the teaching level is questionable. For most of the region's history teaching is concerned, Historical teaching is ignored in different extent. With the author's own teaching experience and the income of the postgraduates education,I feel the importance of the Teaching of historical materials.However, it is pity that Teaching of historical materials is not gained popularity in history teaching. Considered the educational internship experience and reflect the teaching defects, this thesis mainly discusses the importance of teaching of historical materials, in order to reiterated its historical teaching value.This article mainly elaborated from five parts to specific the importance of teaching of historical materials:Chapter One, The origin of teaching of historical materials. What's more, Britain successfully resolved this problem and provide reference for our country history education, so leading to teaching of historical materials. This part by listing different explanations and then puts forward the author for historical materials and teaching of historical materials understanding. Chapter Three, the necessity of teaching of historical materials. This part will be this article's key and where the innovation exists.
