As a bond of the theory and practice of pre-teacher education, educational practice is always paid great attention from researchers and educator home and abroad. After the policy of free education for normal college students was published, it is more necessary to further improve normal college students' practice ability. Therefore, improving the reasonable and stable cooperations between normal colleges and middle and primary schools, and ensuring the effectiveness of educational practice are becoming more important accordingly. However, there is little detailed researches on "U-S" cooperation relations. And most of "U-S" cooperation relations in real life are loose and inefficient, which covers the potential positive effects of the mutual cooperation under the principal of mutual benefits. All this can be ascribed to lacking a systematic, accurate and correct cooperative mechanism.Based on this status quo, this thesis focus on "U-S" cooperative mechanism on educational practice, aiming to analyse theories of educational practice, history and development, to research the individual case about "U-S" cooperation on educational practice of East China Normal University. In this way we can know better about problems and reasons from systematic perspective, and bring up the overall frame and detailed solutions accordingly for reference of related departments and staff.The survey on individual case is based on three research techniques, i.e., text analysis method, interviewing method and observational method. And according the survey results on "U-S" cooperation, the thesis analyzes and sums up in five aspects, including cooperation rights and obligation, division of labor in cooperative organization, drawing up cooperation rules, actual practice of cooperation and cooperation results. And what's more, it analyzes in detail on the problems and reasons in cooperation driving mechanism, operating mechanism and regulation mechanism, which are contained in cooperative mechanism.According to the survey results and analysis, the "U-S" cooperation on educational mechanism has been improved than ever, and the cooperative mechanism frame has nearly been set up. However, it is still a simple coordination and assistance, which is not stable, regular and mature yet. Therefore, some schools still take negative attitudes towards educational practice and student teachers. Based on these problems, this thesis brings up an overall program and detailed suggestions to solve defects of "U-S" cooperative mechanisms. To sum up, this strategy is based on the principles of equality and mutual benefits, specified rights and obligation, positive interactivity and effective guarantee, establishing a united cooperation organization between university and schools, drawing up a complete working system for internship mentor teachers, and setting up various communicational platforms. At the same time, suitable governmental interference should be encouraged and guaranteed, and an open-style teacher education strategy should also be formed step by step.
