Research On Strategy Of Applying The Geographic Image System For High School Students

Geography teaching reform in China has achieved effective results, but improving the geographic image skills of high school students is still an important task in the new geography curriculum reform process.With the innovation of Geography Curriculum and the development of Geography teaching theory, how to enhance the geographic image skills needed for students is a real hard case. Therefore, the research on applying geographic imaging system is very significant for high school students.This thesis contains six sections:The first section describes the significance and major advances in the research, at the same time, relevant problems and some popular methods are specifically stated in this section.The theoretical understandings of geographic imaging system are discussed in the second section. Lots of aspects are covered involving of this problem, what mentioned previously provide a solid foundation for this thesis.In the third section, the condition is considered about applying geographic image system among high school students. By the methods of questionnaire survey, interviewing, observation, compare and statistics, this thesis makes an analysis on the status of learning interest, learning attitudes and geographic imaging skills concerning high school students.The fourth section is the focus of this thesis. In order to improve the ability of applying the geographic image system among students, it is essential to attract students' attention and enlighten their innovation capability with more condensed geographic image.Section five applies the methods and strategies obtained above to teaching practice, and then takes a case study for students in and outside class to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the methods proposed in section four.Toward the end of the thesis, some barriers are put forward for further research in section six.
