Rural left-behind children is the new group occurred in the process of rapid industrialization and urbanization in our country as a large number of farmers migrate to the city for work. At present, the left-behind children are gaining a wide attention from all of the society, but the research on personality education of rural left-behind children is yet very limited. How to make family education, school education, social education and other positive aspects playing an effective role in healthy growth of the rural left-behind children and forming a cohesive force is the current problem which needs to be understood and solved immediately.The thesis mainly divided into four parts. The first part is'The introduction of theory', which researches and examines the various definitions related with rural left-behind children, and studies the great significance of personality education of the rural left-behind children.The second part is'The unique advantages of personality education of the rural left-behind children', which mainly studies the genetic factors, environmental factors and education factors that influence the development of personality formation Left-behind children in life has rich experience of left-behind; has a strong color in the practice of education; has real independent features in spirit, the three advantages is also carry out education features of left-behind children personality, meanwhile,analyze and studies the advantages in developing rural left-behind children personality education, and reveals that the left-behind children is not the synonymous of problem children.The third part is'The analysis on the problems and reasons of rural left-behind children personality education', which researches and examines the situation and the causes of rural left-behind children personality education, analyzed emphatically education, family education, social environment to the left-behind children personality education that produce negative influence, and provides the basis for developing a sound personality of left-behind children.The fourth part is'The research on how to approach the rural left-behind children personality education, which should clear that the goal of personality education is to develop talents with perfect personality at; at second, discuss the ideas and ways of solving the problem from school education and family education as well as the aspects of society and government.So the rural left-behind children personality education attainment problem research and practice, relates to the left-behind children's healthy growth and social development progress, still need to do more of exploration and research.
