Curriculum consciousness as a specific form of social consciousness, its essence is exist in the level of individual ideas "course philosophy". Curriculum consciousness is a dynamic process of development, and it is a basic professional awareness for all relevant staff, which determines individual's attitudes and perceptions for the overall development of courses and deeply concerns about the achievement and breakthrough of the value and significance of the curriculum itself. With the deepening research for consciousness of course, meanwhile, for cultivating excellent normal students to join the teaching staff, since 2007 in six normal universities directly under the Ministry of Education began to practice free education for normal students. Therefore, in order to conform to the new development trend of curriculum reform and effectively promote teacher's professional development, free normal students, as would-be teachers, whose curriculum consciousness naturally become an important task for pre-service teacher education.This thesis based on the background of a new round of curriculum reform, mainly through the questionnaire to survey Free Normal Students'Curriculum Consciousness in some colleges, understanding of the development and the factors of their courses, and makes some recommendations for how to train and upgrade the Free Normal Students' Curriculum Consciousness.The study is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction, including the thesis topics reason, the purpose and meaning, the definition of core concepts, research ideas and methods and the literature review of these five areas. Among them, the literature review has been mainly at home and abroad to sort out relevant information, including the following five areas:(1) research on the consciousness of the concept of curriculum; (2) the elements of curriculum consciousness; (3) factors of curriculum consciousness; (4) The significance of curriculum consciousness; (5) Study of curriculum consciousness program.The second part is the compilation and questionnaire investigation process, this study for the self-made questionnaire, including questionnaire the topic is through classroom observation and interviews and other results and settings, mainly contains four dimensions:curriculum goal consciousness, curriculum implementation consciousness, curriculum resource consciousness, curriculum evaluation consciousness. Finally, based on the southwest university free normal students forecast and SPSS data processing concluded that has good reliability and validity of the formal questionnaire.The third part is the results of the survey and analysis. Select the 600 of Southwest University of Free Normal students as survey counterpart, with SPSS 16.0 statistical software for free normal students curriculum goal consciousness, curriculum implementation consciousness, curriculum resource awareness and consciousness of curriculum evaluation descriptive analysis, and the affecting free normal students curriculum consciousness, such as gender, schools, professional, grade, curriculum setting factors and the ways to factor analysis and regression analysis.The fourth part is about the training of free normal students curriculum consciousness countermeasure and the recommendations, this research according to the survey, from normal colleges and universities, teachers and free normal students individual three levels puts forward some targeted suggestions.The results show that:(1) Free Normal Students curriculum consciousness questionnaire has good reliability and validity; (2) Free Normal Students curriculum consciousness of relatively weak, need is also gradually strengthened; (3) Free Normal Students curriculum consciousness in grade and professional in significantly; (4) free normal education in and probation, etc in teaching practice or cannot use well curriculum theory knowledge, need further guidance and improvement; (5) college courses, teachers'teaching process and free normal students autonomous learning attitude and way to its curriculum consciousness of generating and development impact is significant.
