The development objectives of our nation are speeding up the co-ordination and realizing the the integration of the urban and rural areas. The key to achieve the objectives lies in rural areas, because most Chinese population is still gathering in rural areas. It should be to remove its dregs, and get its essence, be not to negate all axisting of countryside as a city basis, that we change and develop the rural areas. The valuable and meaningful content which has a long history should be protected and developped. This is what we shoud do under the multiple pattern, which is a part of the content of our lives.For the vast territory of the rural areas, people will create their own culture in each party. It should be the mission of the youth and also the responsibility of school education to develop the culture in rural areas. But the basic education in rural areas is urban-oriented, which insists on removing the countryside, geting rid of local culture. It can express on the content of basic education, targets, the campus layout in rural areas.This urban-oriented rural education, especially basic education, has brought many problems for rural youth and rural areas, as follows:hindden dangers caused by dropping out of school; alienation of local and native culture for rural youth; leading to lack of human resources for the construction of new countryside. The ultimate goal of education is the human—a healthy and vivid personality. Therefore, the problem above mentioned should not be the result of basic education, then how dose the basic education think rational and locate reasonably in rural areas? Firstly, we should expand the meaning of basic education, from the time and space, content, goals; secondly, we should pay more attention to the educational value of local culture. In short, the development direction of basic education shoud be in order to be the combination of "Position" and "education" in rural areas. Only in this way, we can achieve "adjustment education" of basic education in rural areas.
