Research On The Development Of School-based Curriculum-its Present Siruation, Problems And Solutions

With the reforms of the education curriculum and the implementation of the national-level curriculum, the development of school-based curriculum has become a hot research topic in the education sector. The development of school-based curriculum has its benefits. Firstly, it enables the school to achieve its aims of education and from school features. Secondly, it contributes to the implementation and improvement of the school curriculum and provide pupils with an all-round education. Thirdly, it provides opportunities in terms of the professional development of teachers.This research uses literature reviews, questionaires and interviews to gather information pertaining to the development of school-based curriculum using primary schools in Wuchang district Hubei Province as the target. It concludes the results achieved thus far, the inherent problems and analyzes the causes so as to provide effective recommendations in the development of school-based curriculum.This paper is divided into five parts:Part 1:The identification of the problem.
