Zhongshan is a very important city in Guangdong province. Inspired by the spirit of developing of the secondary vocational school in the country, Zhongshan has taken a lot steps such as readjusting the structure to develop her secondary vocational education and has made a great success in it.For the latest years, the vocational education reform of Zhongshan has improved a lot. The government said they would take the super exceptional steps to develop the vocational education. The mode of "The-double-certificate-system" graduation policy and the mode of "two-certificate-qualification-system" of the professional teachers have been put into practice first in Zhongshan. New modes of training talents such as "orders-system", "share-holding-system" and "producing-learning-studying system" have been adopted to the training of vocational students. Not compatible with the SUPPER DEVELOPEMENT of the specialized professional courses, the basic cultural foundation courses in Zhongshan have been developed very little. We also can say that the culture of an introductory courses of education have been just ticked over here.The main methods the author used are documentation method, materials collection, questionnaire, interviews. The author has made a research and analysis on the current general situation of the basic cultural courses education in Zhongshan according to the analysis of the Gangkou Vocational School. A great numbers of problems have existed in the teaching of the basic cultural courses in the school at the present. Most of the people in the country including the educational officer, the students'parents and the students themselves look down upon the education of the basic cultural courses which leads the teachers in a low position. The leaders in the school ignore the importance of the basic cultural courses and give a cold shoulder to the teachers of basic cultural courses which hinder the development of the teacher professional ability. The unreasonable policy of the encouragements and the distribution in the school causes their non- initiative. Feeling very listless, the teachers lost their enthusiasm during the work time. Lacking of advanced method, the teachers in the possession of unenlightened teaching ways.They are lack of motive force to the study of teaching methods and unable to undertake their educational reform. With the poor quality of the students and with the inefficient work of the teacher, it is very difficult for the teachers to carry on a class. Divorced from the reality life of the students, with very little interest, the Educational materials are helpless to the students'career. Lacking learning methods, so that the students hate learning the courses. So many problems exist in the education in cultural basic courses which ran the cultural basic courses education into a fix and restrict the development of the school.By studying these issues and analyzing the case, I want to find out what caused the serious situation, some advice and suggestion based on the above investigation and research has been putted forward in the article to improve the teaching of the cultural basic courses in the vocational school in Zhongshan in order that the officers in the education department in Zhongshan can change their policy about zhongshan's secondary vocational education to develop Zhongshan's secondary vocational education as well as to speed up and deepen the reformation of vocational education.
