The Study Of "Discussion And Practice" On High School Language Textbook (Compulsory)

Exercises on the text, which is as an integral part of textbook system, pays an important role in the whole teaching process. However, the situation of "discussion and practice" is not satisfactory in the actual teaching process. Defects of setting exercises, ignoration of teaching and learning, which make "discussion and practice" did not play the greatest role. How to set up "discussion and practice", is more scientific and conducive to student learning? The author firstly makes in-depth thinking and thorough inquiry, from the aspects of the guiding ideology of setting of "discussion and practice", expert advice and inspiration of exceptional aesthetic.Then, the author makes an example of setting of "discussion and practice" in 04 version of PEP textbook, compared with the "practice" of 02 version of textbook, generalizes the inheritance and innovation of "discussion and practice", summarizes the features and deficiencies of "discussion and practice".After getting the result of the above analysis, the author draws on the highlights of exercises-setting from textbooks of Jiangsu, languages, puts forward her own opinion and suggestion on setting of "discussion and practice" from the aspects of both editors and users. Firstly, as editors, they should strengthen the investigation of basic knowledge; pay attention to both accumulation of knowledge and ability-building; strengthen horizontal expansion and vertical depth step by step; give more "uncertain point" to cultivate the imagination of students; set "discussion and practice" for different units distinctively. Secondly, as students, they should go to "exercise" really. Finally, as teachers, they should change teaching concepts in teaching, research "discussion and practice" intensively, attach importance to implementation method. Teachers and students should make great efforts to make more understanding achievements.
