Rhetoric teaching is an important part of language teaching in middle school,and rhetoric is widely used in Chinese teaching materials.However,its teaching effect has been poorly satisfactory.Therefore,in order to better understand rhetoric teaching in Chinese,this study carries out researches on rhetoric,according to the Chinese Textbook of People Education Press Edition for middle school students.In this study,the methods of statistics and inductive analysis are combined to make investigation and summarization of the use of rhetoric in the Chinese Textbooks.Moreover,the difficulties in the teaching of rhetoric can be further studied,and then some feasible advice will be put forward to improve the current predicament.This paper consists of the following five parts:In the first part(Introduction),the significance as well as the research object of this article,research review,research contents,research objectives,research ideas and methods are elaborated.In the second part(Chapter 2),the relationship between rhetoric and Chinese teaching is discussed,and the meaning and function of rhetoric in Chinese teaching for middle school students are elaborated.Furthermore,the significance of rhetoric in teaching materials is pointed out.In the third part(Chapter 3),after the teaching content(the category,the distribution,the type of training,etc.)of rhetoric in the Chinese textbooks is objectively analyzed,the status quo of the rhetoric teaching is reviewed.Then analyze the current situation of the investigation.In the fourth chapter(Chapter 4),on the basis of the objective investigation and the analysis of the textbook in the last chapter,the plight of the rhetoric of Chinese textbooks in the compilation and classroom teaching are continuely analyzed,and some feasible suggestions are put forward specifically.In the last part(conclusion),the rhetoric teaching of the Chinese Textbook for middle school students is summarized,and some improvements are proposed as well.
