Since national Ministry of Education issued The Standard of Chinese Curriculum for full-time Compulsory Education (Trial Draft) in July 2001, the new Chinese teaching materials has been widely used in China. As there is little concern to the curriculum inform in rural areas from educational field, it is of significance to research the applied study of the new Chinese teaching materials in rural areas. The thesis is to understand the applied study situation of the new Chinese teaching materials in rural areas by choosing one of junior middle schools, Weiluo Junior Middle School, in Jiangnan region of Nanning as research object.The new version is more innovative than the old one, reflecting on the characteristic of novelty, flexibility, universality and practice.
