In the process of modernization in our country, with the large-scale rural labor shift to else area, A large number of children become Left-behind Children in the rural areas. Such situation is also to be found in northwest minority area. The Left-behind Children's parents one or both leave home and go out to work for Long-term. What are the impacts in the process of the socialization of the left behind children in northwest minority area. What are the problems we may facing? It is what this paper attempts to explore.The first part points out the purpose of the study, research meaning, the study of status of rural left behind children of the many experts and scholars, and described the research ideas and methods. Finally I made a definition of related concepts.The second part is the empirical research of socialization of left-behind children in Tanshan Town Guyuan City. It makes a short introduction of the place where the research was carried out. Through questionnaires, interviews and observation to collect large amounts of data, the use of sociological analysis of left-behind children's personal social status described, and found that rural left behind children by the process of socialization the main problems. The main problem is too heavy, there are security risks, the academic side, the more serious psychological problems, social interactions in problems, the deviation of family values and the emergence of more deviant behavior.Finally, the issues that appear in the process of the socialization of left-behind children in northwest minority area menstioned above, this paper attempts to give some relevant recommendations and measures based on families, schools, communities. That includes strengthening the parent-child interaction, carefully choosing guardians, carrying out health education, strengthen the construction of boarding schools, using community resources, volunteers playing a role. Through these measures I hope establish the network of sound social support.
