Study And Analysis On College Counselors' Performance Appraisal

As the organizer, executor and conductor of the College Students'ideological and political education, co1lege counselors are the life coach and intimate friend of college students. The quality of the co1lege counselors had a great impact on college students. Strengthening the construction of instructors at universities can ensure college students' ideology and morality will be constructed very well. Regulations on university instructors team construction in universities and colleges released by the Education Department in July 2006, which specify that every college should formulate specific measures for college counselors performance appraisal to enhance the assessment of counselor team.It shows that it's essential to evaluate counselor's performance for they are responsible for college student's education and ideology etc. How to evaluate their performance, is a major issue facing the facing college counselor team construction. Nowadays, a lot of universities have recognized the importance of performance assessment, and built performance appraisal system in succession. While, there are some problems during performance appraisal in practice, making college counselors performance assessment did not work well. How to conduct effective performance assessment aimed at counselors'work, is a big issue facing college teachers building. It is very urgent and important to build a sophisticated, scientific and reasonable college counselors performance assessment system.Therefore, in order to enhance the ideological and political education of university students, to strengthen college counselors'quality, it is necessary to combine their working characteristics and the problems exist in assessment through enrich and improve evaluation system to play incentive effect.This article studies on counselor working characteristics and examination content of the performance, through analysis the current situation on performance evaluation in colleges and universities and explore the problems in the performance evaluation. Here, we use 360° Feedback to evaluate counselors'performance comprehensively. Calculated the weight of indicators and design a reasonable counselor performance evaluation system which provides a guide for performance assessment and strengthen the construction of college counselors.
