Implementing teaching post appointment system in colleges and universities is required in the developing process of higher education .In order to promote this system smoothly, scientific administrative system need to be established in our colleges and universities to increase the efficiency of management and to excavate the teachers'potential .As a result, our school's energy will also be aroused. This thesis performs a study of how to proceed efficient administration on teaching post appointment system in colleges and universities, and how can we apply the performance management system in the enterprise to teaching management in colleges and universities so as to establish a compatible system on teaching management.This article begins with the analysis of basic characters and target of management among teachers in colleges and universities, then the position and importance of teaching post appointment system and performance management system in college teaching management be emphasized. Through the comparison of teaching management systems between USA and China, current situations can be illustrated, at the same time, the successful experiences of developed countries also be summarized to explain the new trends of college teaching management.The key point of this thesis is not only to explore the significance of implementing teaching post performance management system in colleges and universities, but also to explain the basic requirements about this action. After analyzing and answering questions like"what requirements do teaching post appointment system put forward on teaching management?""why performance management is an important way to promote teaching post appointment system efficiently? And how to make it function better?", this article begins to explore the procedures of establishing teaching performance management system.Finally, the relevant circumstances and conditions of how to establish teaching performance management system also be mentioned.
