With the rethinking on Face to Face Learning and Online Learning, Blended Learning is a kind of learning model for the purpose of optimum effectiveness and reduction of training costs. At present, Blended Learning is mainly applied to enterprises'training. However its application in school education especially teacher training is rather limited. Based on Qian'an teachers'training school, the experimental base and Tangshan teachers'training network, the online leaning platform, this paper makes a tentative study of Blended Learning applying to the training of educational technology ability for elementary and middle schools teachers. Many methodologies are adopted in this paper, such as the literature methodology, observation, questionnaire survey, interviews, action research and so on.Firstly, this paper briefly states the background, present situation, purpose and the significance of the research. It proposes the application pattern of Blended Learning in the training of educational technology ability for elementary and middle school teachers. Appropriate learning models should be based on the characteristics of learning contents, such as Face to Face Learning model is mainly used in technology class and Online Learning model in theoretical knowledge and practical application. Then, from the several aspects of the earlier period analysis, the learning process, the study supports and studies appraises, this paper carries out the teaching design on the application of Blended Learning to the training of educational technology ability for elementary and middle schools teachers. Finally, with the implementation of Blended Learning in the training of educational technology ability, this paper verifies the validity of the application of Blended Learning to such training, which can not only better realize the curriculum objective, expand training time and space as well as enhance the effectiveness of training, but also reduce training costs and the labor intensity of trainers.
