Research On The Development Of Backbone Teachers In Primary And Middle Schools In Qinhuangdao City

As the core of the collection of teachers, backbone teachers influence everyone in the group, promote school's work and help grow and keep up the teachers'abilities. Therefore, it is vital to train, choose and evaluate backbone teachers. This essay aims at analyzing the situation of backbone teachers'development, finding out the disadvantages and meanwhile giving some constructive suggestions.First of all, it sets out the theory of the development of backbone teachers, which includes the background, significance and the present situation of such a research at home and abroad. In this part, the writer also tries to tell how to define a backbone teacher, what qualities he/she should have, how many developing stages there are and what their relevant characteristics are. Then by analyzing the elements that affect their development, the writer provides theoretical basis for further study.Furthermore, the writer analyzes the present situation of backbone teachers in all the primary and middle schools in Qinhuangdao City: their distribution, radiation and demonstration functions. On the basis of this analysis, the writer brings forward the problems and weak points in order to provide evidences for the system of evaluating, choosing and training backbone teachers of the city.Still, this essay emphasizes the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the assessment of backbone teachers, applies AHP to the index weights of the assessing system and by using grey clustering analysis gives the comprehensive evaluation of backbone teachers'development, and thus forms the evaluating index system of backbone teachers.In the end, some practical proposals will be given to the strategies of choosing and training backbone teachers, effective assessing system and scientific utilizing system according to the present situation in Qinhuangdao City.
