The Postmodernism, being popular in western country for nearly half century, has come to china at the end of 20th century. It is against the so-called authority, and supports to doubt, dispel and reconstruct the traditional value. It has great impact on Chinese culture, which leads to the decline of the social humanistic value. Students in middle schools are during the period of rapid development both physically and mentally. The building of their core value is easily influenced by the negative post-modernistic thoughts. Therefore, it is very necessary to discuss how to correctly construct the middle school students'core value under the post-modernistic context.This thesis, from the social post-modernistic context, firstly analyses the characteristic of the"simulated culture","twitter age","joking of classic", and the impact brought by them. Secondly, the author arranged a lot of survey data to summarize that the dilemma of students shows in four aspects, the lack of ideal and faith, the indifference of national sentiment, the drop of moral consciousness, and the decline of aesthetic literacy. And he points out the contradiction between students'dilemma and the construction of core value. It continues to talks the possibility of constructing students'core value. By taking the examples of the PEP version Chinese textbook, it analyses the humanistic connotation and argues the significance of the value of literary classic in building students'core value system. At last, it mainly discusses how to construct the students'core value system by reading literary classics in practice. In this part, the author, by survey and interview, finds the problems of literary classics in the PEP version Chinese textbook and states the coping strategies in literary classic teaching in the view of"dialogue"and"beauty".
