Literature is one of the quintessence of human culture.The essence of literature stands out in the exemplary works of literature-literary classics.Therefore reading and learning literary classics are an important step in the progress of human beings,especially for young students who are in the stage of rapid physical and mental development.As an important part of the Chinese teaching in the secondary vocational school,the teaching of literary classics plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the literary accomplishment and values of secondary vocational school students.However,in the actual teaching,the teaching effect is not good because of the educational system,the teaching concept,the teacher's own quality and so on.In addition,the proportion of literary classics in Chinese teaching materials in secondary vocational school is unreasonable and the lack of interest of secondary vocational school students in the reading of literary classics which also make the teaching of literary classics in an awkward situation.This paper hope that through the research of the teaching situation and countermeasures of literary classics in secondary vocational school,enhance the effectiveness of the teaching of classical literature,improve the enthusiasm of secondary vocational students to read literary classics.Let the literary classics help the secondary vocational students grow up to lay a solid foundation for their lifelong development and employment.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the source of topic selection,the significance of this topic selection,the research findings for this related issue both at home and abroad.The second part is the elaboration about the concept and meaning of literary classics.This paper expounds the "classics" and "literary classics",and focuses on the characteristics and significance of the "literary classics".The third part discusses the importance of strengthening the teaching of literary classics to secondary vocational education.It mainly demonstrates three aspects from the following aspects: matching the training characteristics of secondary vocational school students,improving the humanistic quality of secondary vocational school students,and laying the foundation for future employment of secondary vocational school students.The fourth part is the investigation and analysis of the status of Chinese and teaching of literary classics in Secondary vocational and Chinese teaching material is selected from the classical literature.Through the questionnaire,interview,literature retrieval and the view of the Chinese classroom teaching,the problems existed in Chinese and literary classics teaching and teaching materials in secondary vocational schools are analyzed.At last,the changes of the selection of literary classics in the Chinese teaching materials of secondary vocational schools are combed.The fifth part is the focus of the paper,and the teaching improvement strategy is discussed in detail.In view of the problems in the teaching of literary classics,some effective improvement measures and suggestions are put forward.Mainly from the educational system,school-based textbook development,teaching strategy and classroom extension four aspects are discussed in detail.The sixth part lists a teaching case of the literary classics of the secondary vocational school.The case selected the concrete design of Shu Ting's "oak tree" in the Chinese teaching materials of the secondary vocational school,and discussed the teaching idea in the teaching process.
