In modern information society, learning has become part of people's life.As learning style has a direct impact on study, everyone should choose a suitable learning style. In order to make students learn how to learn and master basic learning methods and strategies, the new curriculum reform asks to guide students"learning with individuality".Learning with individuality, to be brief, means learning in students'own style, which fits their features and needs. Individualized learning, seeking for the individuality development based on all-round development, is not only a way for students to acquire knowledge, but also a process in which students can develop their individuality. Individualized learning respects students'diversity and gives back their right of learning, so it has the characteristics of autonomy, diversity and uniqueness. In the course of individualized learning, educators tell students how to learn, ensure their learning rights and interests, help them form healthy personality, and bring up all kinds of talents, which is of great influence and significance to children, education and society. As an education thought, individualized learning has a long history. In China, from the Spring and Autumn period to modern times, educationists, such as Confucius, Cai Yuanpai, Chen Heqin and so on, all talk about the thought of individualized learning. In western countries, the thought of individualized learning sprouts in Homeric Age of ancient Greece, but doesn't come to life until the Renaissance, and then it develops greatly. In the present age, Multiple Intelligences Theory, Constructivism and Humanism provid strong theory foundation for individualized learning. At present, the new curriculum reform of our country encourages students to study in diverse styles, mainly including Autonomous Learning , Cooperative Learning and Inquiry Learning, aimed at converting the only and passive learning style. That is to say, the new curriculum reform advocates individualized learning. However, because the reform is not adequate, students now still have difficulty in learning. As a result, educators should deepen the curriculum reform, change concept, develop a variety of teaching and establish the scientific system of educational assessment to secure improvement in students'learning style.
