Class teaching is the main teaching position. Teacher's teaching and students'learning are directly reflected in class.Class teaching is the trial field. New theories and methods need to be verified and spread. Class is also teacher's growing stage. Many masters come out from the class. However classroom is a relatively closed place. It is difficult for teachers to know what is happening in other teachers'class. Therefore, as a special form of teaching, open class in teaching has its unique function which can't be readily supplanted. Because: Open class is the most effective way to put the new teaching theory, ideology and method into practice. It is also the main way for the middle school teachers to exchange teaching achievements. It is the only road to the major development of teachers'profession. It is the most important method for the teachers'evaluation and assessment. It is the most significant teaching activity in teachers'eyes. Especially along with the development of senior new curriculum, most teachers feel badly that their teaching concept, ways and methods are increasingly facing new challenges. So they are burning to arm themselves with the new thought and theory. As a result, open class begins to play the most important role in the teaching seminars as the most concise, the most effective and the most convenient way to spread teaching ideology and method. But it is this very common teaching activity which is familiar to all the teachers that is being increasingly doubted by people. So this paper mainly analyses some problems appearing in the implementation of open class and also has an exploration and research on the existing problems in the sample school, which is purposed to further improve the actual effectiveness of open class.Based on the theories and practice of improving the effectiveness of open class, the paper mainly employs two research methods: (1) theory research: adopt literature research. Through reading and distilling domestic and foreign relevant research papers and books to analyze and master the current research situation of open class, I established my own research stand. (2) case study: this paper mainly raises, analyses and solves problems according to the practical exploration based on the cases aimed at promoting the effectiveness of open class in the sample school. Meanwhile, the paper also employs questionnaire, interviewing method and observing method comprehensively.The paper analyses and develops the thesis mainly from the following aspects: firstly analyze and comb the current research on open class from the domestic and foreign documents, consisting of: the types and characteristics of open class; the value and significance of open class; the relations of open class and conventional class; problems appearing in open class and their solutions concerned. Thereby grasp the main problems ever found by previous researchers, the specific comment on the other people's research viewpoint and the main train of solving the problems. Secondly, by analyzing the features and the sample school , I designed questionnaires of teachers, judges, students and interviewing outlines of teachers, conducted the field questionnaire research and mastered the current situation of the sample school, the understanding of open class of teachers, the existing problems in open class and suggestions of improving open class of teachers. Thirdly, as for the problems appearing in the process of implementing open class, the school specified the train of how to improve open class and ascertained the strategy and ways of further improving open class. Finally, by analyzing the consequence of improving the actual effect of open class, the paper analyses the main problems appearing the the implementation of the concrete strategy in open class and addresses suggestions for further improvement.
