Chinese open class video is a kind of high quality resources to assist teaching, and how to make effective use of these resources in teaching is the key to promote open class video applications and improve the effectiveness of their application. This research set Centre China Normal University’s "learning psychology" general education course as the study object, combined with general education curriculum goals and characteristics of exploration and study of the open class video application methods and results in the "psychology of learning" in the general education curriculum, drawn the best application methods, and summarizes the research process and the lack of experience, to provide a reference for future research.This study consists of three parts. The first part is review the research status at home and abroad, and elaborate different study conditions of the open class applied to the teaching at home and abroad. The design and implementation phase of the study is the main part of this paper, by survey the tendency of students’ watching open class videos, conclude three application methods on open class videos applied in general education course; then is the implement part of the study, including methods application mode, and select the best teaching mode. By the application of "the Flipped Classroom Mode"," Embedded Classroom Mode" and "After Classroom Mode" three methods in the Learning Psychology general education courses, and according to the evaluation and comparison of the effect, choose the best application method; then set "After Classroom Mode" as the main teaching method, tracking the evaluation, feedback and constantly adjust the "After Classroom Mode" according to the evaluation, in order to optimize the "After Classroom Mode" teaching method. Finally, conclude the study, including the reflection of the study and future prospects.The study results showed that "After Classroom Mode" is the best, whether in the level of knowledge and skills level, processes and methods level, or the level what have been enhanced in terms of attitudes and values. The "After Classroom Mode" method combined classroom teaching with autonomy watching the open class videos after school, and set two weeks as a teaching cycle. Classroom teaching as the leading part in "After Classroom Mode", teachers in the classroom teaching courses basics, and some related learning skills, then stimulate students’ interest in learning, and open class videos are the expanding part of the course content, students in the interest for the course, in certain knowledge-based, and with clear learning goals and tasks driving, students watch the video open class independently after school, and also do group collaborative learning. In the group collaborative learning, increased teacher (or assistant) to interact with the students, so as to provide students with timely guidance and help. In next week’s classroom, the teacher organizes the classroom, students discuss questions. The application of "After Classroom Mode" makes a good transition and convergence between classroom teaching and after class learning.Although the results get the best way to apply open class video in Learning Psychology general education courses, but it also has its shortcomings, for example, the method did not take into account the cognitive differences between men and women, so the classroom teaching design should base on the proportion of men and women; due to the limited hours, it is insufficient to find more problems, and it also didn’t consider "After Classroom Mode" may be more favorable to export-oriented students and so on. Therefore, we need for more in-depth study in the future.
