The purpose of this study is to attempt a breakthrough in high school composition teaching. On the basis of the author抯 success in experimenting the æ‰ew concept composition? the thesis presents a new idea of high school composition teaching. The author makes and foreign writing practices, elaborating on the relation between inheriting and creating in new concept composition. Based on cognitive theory, the thesis analyzes the limitation of the theory of composition making, and comes up with the limitation of the theory of composition making, and comes up with the following ideas and conclusions; (1) The success of the new concept composition lies in its distinct idea, creative thinking, and personalized expression, which bring forth the new concept in high school composition teaching.(2)The attern of emotion?as a medium linking superficial phenomena and cognition plays a significant role in the making of composition, and thus should not be neglected. (3) This study comes up with the concept of æƒmage creation? a process in which new images carrying the writer抯 emotions are created by imagination, and further combined and expressed in a proper artistic form. This should be an important stage in the transformation from æ•hought?to æ˜riting? Thus the æ•riple transformation?in composition making evolves into a æŽuadruple transformation? with æƒmage creation?as an important consideration in writing, serving as a point of penetration in developing creative thinking. (4) The thesis also covers personal experience in attempting to develop creative thinking in composition teaching.
