Situation Teaching Method of Senior English --My Teaching CasesABSTRACTAs we know, teachers are called to be "engineers in cultivating the spirit of mankind".Teachers social role is to develop humam spirits and skills. What I have done is the new experiment in senior education, called "Situation Teaching Method " .Scientists believe that our brains will work at least 75% more effectively if both sides are exercised .My experiment has been done using a 50%?0% ruler. That is ,a ruler which deals 50% with logic and 50% with creative skills and therefore exercises both sides of the brain . The results of students who were working from such a ruler were much better than the results of students working from the more traditional ruler which concentrates on more "logical" items and therefore only exercises the left side of the brain, without much attention to the right side. The Situation Teaching Method is to create some active and emotional sceneries in class. Both sides of the brain can be exercised by this method ,1 do the experiment in four ways.1.Create an interesting situation to enlarge the students' vocabulary.2.Create a questionary situation through "asking and answering thequestions by themselves" to improve students' reading skill.3.Create a communicative situation from a duty report to train students'spoken English .4.Create a grammar learning situation from everyday English to enhancestudents' communication.Due to the unfamiliarity with the educational theory, there must be some shortages in the thesis .In addition, because of the limitation of research conditions, the research may fail to cover all true things in this field and leave the need to do more study.
