With the development of network technology, as a new kind of instructional pattern, network-based instruction has greatly changed the traditional instructional concept and created significant effect on education.The controlling of instructional process has always been the key link, no matter in traditional classroom instruction or modern network-based instruction. Therefore, from the practical need in administrating instructional process and from the application of instructional technology as well, the research on the controlling of instructional process is of importance in instruction research, which has strong value both in theory and in practice.Besides realizing the function of traditional classroom instruction, network-based instruction supported by modern network environment, has great difference with the traditional classroom instruction in educational concept, instructional process, instructional approach, the organization and application of instructional resources, instructional time and space etc. In particular, the time and space of students and teachers being different in the instructional process, the controlling and administrating of the instructional process goes complicated. Meanwhile, the students' learning process has closely related to the instructional process and the students' controlling of it has direct influence on the achievement and efficiency of their learning. As a result, from the essence which network-based instruction has reached, research on the controlling of the instructional process in network-based instruction has much difficulty but more practical value and deeper significance.At present, research on the controlling of the instructional process in network-based instruction is limited, but paying more attention to it is bound to have positive effect on developing the network-based instruction. This thesis expounds how to strengthen the controlling and administrating network-basedinstruction from its principle, the instructional design under network environment, the choice of instructional media in network instruction, the present form of instructional information and the administrating of network-based instructional process.Chapter one briefly introduces network-based instruction and its history, analyzes its present situation, then proceeds to the importance of studying on strengthening the controlling and administrating the network-base instructional process.Chapter two expounds the relative principles on controlling and administrating the instructional process.Chapter three probes into the realization of controlling and administrating the network-based instructional process.Chapter four is about designing a software, mainly explaining its design idea, function, installing and the process of running.Chapter five is about the technique used in designing the software.Chapter six is the report on the testing result of the software.Chapter seven is the conclusion of the whole thesis and points out the existing problems and the aspects that need improving in the software designing.
