Basing on the standpoint that "the process of cultural instruction and inheritance is that of education" in cultural anthropology, this thesis carries on the research of instruction and inheritance of national physical culture in south-west China in the context of educational system. Here the instruction and inheritance system of national physical culture in south-west China is entitled "educational instruction and inheritance system". Related issues are excavated and arranged from the point of view of ethnic and physical education trying to explore a "blind area" in national physical culture research home and abroad.Here, the instruction and inheritance of national physical culture in south-west China is considered under the background of national geographical surroundings and historical and cultural circumstances; Original culture and means of educational instruction and inheritance are linked by ethnic common psychological qualities; It is directly under the ideology of world and value outlook and thinking method of ethnic philosophy as well as physical culture outlook of national minority in south-west China gradually formed under the influence of the former. Through ways of social, family and school education, bearing some self-freshening abilities, the instruction and inheritance adjusts itself to the development of modern society and consummates its structure and function.The emphasis of this thesis is on the research of the ways of national physical culture in south-west China. By referring to distinguished literatures home and abroad and investigating and inquiring on the spot, it is discovered that:â… . Social education is the main way of physical instruction and inheritance in southwest ethnic minorities. It is divided into 3 parts, it religious activities, folk customs and national cultures. Among them, folk customs are combined with national physical culture the closest.â…¡. The nuclear factors in family education are the old (superiors in kindred and clan families) and children (the young in ethnic minority families ). With the influence of Chinese cultural tradition and present structure of ethnic minority families, the old are the major bearer of cultural instruction and inheritance While children are the heir.â…¢. School education has not yet given full play to its instructional and inheriting functions. But it has great potential. The thesis applies course distribution model theory of multi-cultural education, and puts forward that the school education in national physical culture instruction and inheritance system could get perfected by campus cultural construction, syllabus of national physical culture and training of athletic events of national physical culture.
