With the surge of the fundamental education curriculum reform, At first, the new curriculum system needs huge breakthroughs and improvement in its functionality, structure, contents, implementation, evaluation criteria and management methodology and other related aspects compared to the old system. Second, The changes at all levels brought by the curriculum reform will show themselves in the changes of our instructors' education concept, teaching methodology and teaching behavior. The reform does bring our teachers harsh challenges and great opportunities.Third, whether the new curriculum can go smoothly or not will depends much on if the qualifications of our teachers can adapt to the requirements of the curriculum reform. About these problems for high school math teachers in Shan xi province , we did a series of serious investigations. The investigations include the math teachers' teaching philosophy, view points on math science, math knowledge and capabilities, and their understanding for the new contents in the new curriculum. Moreover, we also pay our attention to high school math teachers' understanding and comments on the relationship between teachers and teachers and the relationship between teachers and students. High school math teachers teaching behavior and their examination approaches and evaluation systems are also topics in our investigations.Through the investigations, we found there exist some aspects to be improved further to meet the needs of the new curriculum system among math high school teachers in our province. We analyze these problems and give the reasons why theyexist, propose the basic concepts required by the curriculum reform and go further to point out that it is necessary for our teachers to update their teaching attitudes and methods so as to play "new roles" in the curriculum reform which should be the center in their teaching. For these current common wrong concepts and behaviors in high school math teaching, we also give our instructors detailed and effective suggestions to overcome them through teaching behavior changes. At last, we urge the eduction branches in our government to improve and adjust their continuous eduction training programs for our math teachers according to the new curriculum system.We wish our research on this topic can provide valuable help for all the middle school math teachers in classrooms to understand the new curriculum system deeply and study<< The Fundamental Eduction Curriculum Reform Blueprint>> in detail. We also hope this research can bring ideas and actions from our middle school math teachers to fight for the challenge from the new curriculum reform and to work for and improve the quality and creativity based eduction comprehensively so as to response to the smooth implementation of new math curriculum system in the whole nation.
